One thing you don't see listed is that if your bike were to fall over.. the trailer stays standing and safe. Like if your bike we to fall over on it's side it will not take the trailer with it! It's so safe! Like little 1 year old was comfortable and had plenty of room for toys and pocket for her sippy cup. She so enjoyed riding with me. Since this is a single seater it doesn't get in the way of other people you are passing on pathways.Make sure your bike is compatible! I can't stress this enough. Do not just assume that it is.*Only negatives I have to say about this product are 1. that it smells terrible when it arrives-just be sure to give it time to air out before putting your little or pup in it. 2. The flag is came with arrive broken in the box-not a big deal as they are cheap to purchase.Well worth the money we spent. We did months of research and felt that this trailer was the best for us.

When my wife and I decided to retire our child trailer after more than twenty years of service we found the offerings slim for a dedicated dog trailer for our 10 lbs bichion 'peaches'. Despite the brand name and great price, the schwinn rascal pet trailer seemed low on features, heavy in weight, and cheaply made judging by the specs. We purchased it because there weren't alot of other options, and after using it for three months i can say I'm glad we did. The build quality is good and it cleans up well. The construction is simple with easy put up and take down and it stores well. I like to keep the wheels on for maximum ease of use (see photo). Our dog seems comfortable or as much as she can be for being in a confined space. The rascal has plenty of room for lunch bags, beach towels or other small items. Unless your focused on time trials, the added weight is no big deal. Most importantly the wow factor is not lost. You know, watching the delighted anb bewildered expressions of other riders realizing you've got your dog along for the ride. Only a small subset of dedicated riders, dog owners and excentrics know what I'm talking about here.Cons include already showing some signs of whear and a low profile which makes it difficult to look back while riding to check on your dog. Would also have liked to see a screen window in the back of the trailer so that peaches can see my wife riding behind. All in all an excellent price and product. Hope you found this review useful. Please note peaches not pictured to protect her privacy and anonymity.

This thing almost assembled itself coming-out of the box. The sides popped open, the end braces fell into place and the wheels slipped right on to the frame, all in less than five minutes after I cut the carton open.Only tool needed was a wrench for removing a back wheel axle nut to slip the mounting hitch in place and retighten the nut. The only other thing I had to do was add more air to the tires. And it pulls effortlessly on my old used bike that I rebuilt more than twenty-five years ago.As one other reviewer noted, the tires are both mounted in the same direction, according to the tread and if I ever get around to it, I'll remount the left one to make it roll in the direction of the tread arrow, but I really can't see how this will effect performancce or wear.I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research for four months before finally placing my order and after receiving this trailer, I'm fully convinced it's the best value available.
